FIRST DAY OF CAMP

Hurrah!!! and thanks to all of the families that have their children in our ACT 2025 camp this summer.  TODAY was AMAZING!!!  The children learn so  quickly and have practiced songs at home.  A BIG THANK YOU to our CAMPERS for an AWESOME FIRST DAY1!!

SECOND DAY OF CAMP

Only two days in, and we’re already seeing the magic come to life! Today was all about building on the momentum from Day 1—and wow, did we deliver. The energy in the room was electric, with the cast diving deeper into character work, nailing harmonies, and locking in some truly impressive dancing!

THIRD DAY OF CAMP

It’s only Day 3, but we’re already seeing real momentum—and best of all, we’re having a blast. This group is something special. You can feel it!!

FOURTH DAY OF CAMP

We’re wrapping up Day 4 of Madagascar Jr. and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the growth, joy, and energy we’re seeing from our campers! From choreography to character work, each child is stepping into the spotlight with confidence and creativity. Thank you for your continued support — this jungle is full of stars!

FIFTH DAY OF CAMP

The campers were in full swing today as we wrapped up Week 1 with wild energy worthy of the Central Park Zoo! Today we set sail—literally! With the ship scene officially blocked, the cast brought big energy and bold choices to our voyage out of New York, and our performers are stepping up with confidence and character. A few dance numbers are already in motion, and the cast is starting to groove like true lemur royalty.
From roaring lions to wobbly crates, the island adventure is starting to take shape!

SIXTH DAY OF CAMP

The jungle came alive today with big personalities, bold choices, and just the right amount of chaos. From crate escapes to kingly entrances, the island energy was high and hilarious. Campers brought the drama, the comedy, and a touch of jungle madness!

SEVENTH DAY OF CAMP

Today, the island truly revealed itself. New voices rose, rhythms pulsed, and characters collided in the wildest of ways. Every moment felt bigger, louder, and just a little more legendary. The adventure has officially begun!

EIGHTH DAY OF CAMP

Yipee! We wrap today up with half the show blocked! We saw an excellent amount of progress and we were truly bringing the ROAR to rehearsal! Tomorrow we will need to come with jungle sized focus so we finish blocking the rest of the musical, and “Move It, Move It” our way throughout rehearsal!

NINTH DAY OF CAMP

Today we explored New York, Ship, and best of all Madagascar! We truly brought out our best acting, singing, and dancing to the stage! Our amazing directors were “Living in Paradise” today as we climbed through prop, set changes and blocking challenges! This cast has proved to be the best cast ever in the wildest ways!

TENTH DAY OF CAMP

YAY! Two weeks in and these campers are crack-a-lak-in’ this show! Coming into tech week, we will have our set up, and start with mics! We have truly gotten into character; these “people are animals”! Our directors are beyond proud of these talented campers! Next week we have our performances! Make sure we remember all of the critiques and apply them during rehearsal!

ELEVENTH DAY OF CAMP

Closing on day 11, we reflect on everything we have done leading up to this week, and furthermore the shows: all the effort and practice we have put into this show coming true deserves the wildest applause ever! It is unbelievable how fast camp is going! This just shows that time flies when you are having fun! A big thanks to our campers, volunteers and staff, we are truly all working really hard to show our audience our true ROAR!
